I'd like to find a guide to do a private tour of Bhutan. Anyone have any suggestions?

If you have already started your research, then you know you are required to use a local agency to set up your trip. The agency will supply the guide for you.

I'd suggest that you go to the top of this page and choose "search by country" and choose "Bhutan." This will give you a list of all the posts tagged Bhutan. Look for the trip reports, and you can read about people's experiences with the various Bhutanese agencies.

If you use a travel agency based in another country, that agency will contract with a local agency - and add on their costs. Less expensive and less complicated to use a Bhutanese agency to start with.
