Summer time is really bad, because it is low season and most places are closed. Frankly you've almost missed it for this year. I would recommend October to Feb/March

Actually, the beginning of May isnt bad, since the weather, though hot and humid, is ameliorated by the pre-Monsoon breezes coming off the sea. However, on the whole I would say November to mid-March.

Best time is between October to June. You will enjoy pleasant weather and is a peak season for tourists and festivities.

Anytime EXCEPT monsoon season when everything is shut down. Wind and rain don't make for a fun time at the beach!

Depends on why you are going. If you want to party, probably December. If you don't want to party, go earlier.

I'd say, November to April. winter is definitely the best time.
