Best Singapore Sunday Brunch Hotel?
Any recommendations for a really good Sunday Brunch? We want to give a voucher as a Christmas present to our son & daughter-in-law who live in Singapore. We live in the UK, so a voucher is easier than sending physical presents.

Warm greetings to the OP, roger; just catching up with your posting from winding down work week in the San Francisco Bay Area. Most thoughtful Christmas gesture on your part; I (we) love living in Singapore.
As for best Singapore Sunday brunch locale, must give the highest praise to, well, our humble home and our wondrous housekeeper with her culinary magic. Moving on to hotel options, have always had most enjoyable Sunday brunches at Raffles, from childhood visits with my parents and siblings, to present. Most recent Raffles brunch (in her Bar and Billiard Room) entailed treating some cousins visiting from Scotland. Lovely afternoon of good company, cuisine and Champagne.
Numerous fine brunch options in our city-state; Raffles is the one that immediately came to mind. Returning home to Singapore next week; will most likely have more dining ideas for you. Enjoy your planning; warm weekend wishes to you and all from SF Bay Area,
robert

A good post, thanks for bringing this up. How sad that Au Jardin les Amis in the Botanic Gardens has been closed Also looking forward to see the hotel brunch offerings suggested here (I expected a strong rec for Raffles).

All the places that I have been to do a lunch Buffet, they are not what I consider to be brunches, as they do breakfast beforehand between 6 -10 and then lunch 12-2, maybe afternoon 3-5 etc
The Raffles one sounds great, while not in the same setting by any stretch of the imagination, I was at Carousel at Royal Plaza on Scott's last month and it was excellent, I later found out they do byo wine which can make a significant difference.
Also you can't go wrong with any of the Mandarins or the Shangri-La, in fact I would say just about any 5 star hotel in the major cities such as Singapore KL, HK, Bangkok etc do top quality buffets, but they don't come cheap in comparison to some other options

I was browsing through my old previous postings when I came upon this one. After a week with no replies I had assumed that it had been swamped by a tsunami of other SE Asia enquiries, so I had moved on.
Delighted that Geordie, WeissereTee and AskOsena took the trouble to scuba down and forward some very helpful suggestions. Thanks for those.
I eventually decided on the Ritz Carlton, who do a gift certificate for a champagne Sunday brunch that my son & his wife can use whenever. As advised, Singapore is expensive, but then this is a Christmas present and I guess that my arm and leg will grow back - they have in the past!
Thanks again, and Merry Christmas.
