Best place to Sea Kayak in South Thailand

Anybody who has sea kayaked in Thailand, what are the best areas and what is a good, reliable oraganization to get gear from and a possibly a guide. We only want it to be the two of us or a small group.

Thanks.

I haven't gone on my trip yet but I have done a lot of research. I think the Krabi area would be ideal for kayaking due to the limestone formations jutting out of the water. I am planning on spending a day paddling about!

Try John Gray's Sea Canoe http://www.johngray-seacanoe.com/
We did a fantastic day trip with them in Phang Nga Bay in Phuket and they also run a number of overnight trips in the same area

The cliffs & scenery around Railay & Had Phra Nang is simply gorgeous. There will probably be speedboats & longtail boats vying for snorkelling positions so be out there early. You could contact Chan Phen Travel in Krabi town, ph (0)7561 2004. Omit the 0 for international calls & dial 66 prior for Thai country code.

We've heard Koh Lipe in Tarutao National Pk is also perfect for kayaking & also Koh Ngai near Trang. We'll be checking both out soon! Have a great trip!

I did a John Gray day trip a few days ago. Was very impressed by his operation and the local guides were very friendly. If you're just looking to rent equipment, not sure if they'd do that, but as hastern01 suggested, you can check out the web site and see if they have something to suite you.
