Private transfers company help - Saigon to Pha thiet/Mui ne

We will be going to Mui Ne from Saigon (and back again) in November and rather than get the bus am thinking we should get a private transfer, does anyone know of a reliable, safe company with good rates?
Thanks
S

I took the open tour bus. Maybe your hotel can help.

I did contact the hotel previously and its $145 each way! (the £90 return trip from BKK to Hua hin looks cheap now) i was just wondering if anyone had used a transport firm/reliable taxi firm in Saigon that i could contact (if i need to i will use the hotels or Tonkins but am trying to bring some of the costs in a bit cheaper!)

Well, the Sinh Cafe (www.sinhcafevn.com) wants $5.23 for the "seating" bus and $10.47 for the "sleeping" bus, and takes 4.5 hours, so you can certainly do it much cheaper! BTW, I notice that Sinh Cafe also provides cars and drivers and guides - you could ask them for a quote, too, although they're mostly known for the Open Tour buses. Otherwise, you might just see what a taxi rented off the street would cost.

The best bus service by far is the MAI LINH EXPRESS bus service which has, literally, hundreds of new buses.

They run during the day rather than at night or overnight when the OpenTour drivers terrorise other road users.

ML Express has 18 bus runs daily to PHAN THIET/MUI NE starting at 06.00H and the last one leaving HCMC at 20.00H.

ML Express 400A Le Hong Phong, Ward 1, District 10; also Lampson Square, District 1.

Tel: (08)-38-32-38-88 [PHAN THIET (0620)-823-222]

Mai Linh also has 'de luxe' cars, complete with video. Call them on arrival.
