Beijing and Hong Kong Restaurants

Hi all,
Can you recommend some memorable restaurants in Beijing and Hong Kong that are not excessively expensive? Thanks.

What type of food are you looking for? Chinese, Western...? Do you want a restaurant with atmosphere or just for the food?

I love The Source in Beijing. It's a small Szechuan restaurant in a hutong and has a pre-set menu that puts a large variety of foods on your table (and saves you the bother of trying to put a meal together). The atmosphere is calm. It runs about $35-40 USD/person for the entire meal and a bottle of beer.

I don't think that you can eat for anywhere near $10 at Da Dong.
You can easily eat for $5 including beer in regular restaurants in Beijing.
One interesting place to explore is Dianke Dianlai. Set menu for 98RMB. Hard to find and no english spoken there though.
