Beijing Airport?

Just wondering what the new airport is like. They were just building it during my first trip to China. Found the old one to be something out of the dark ages. Look forward to being pleasantly surprised on my next trip.

Beijing's new airport is beautiful and super modern. When you are going through customs there is a beautiful large mural of the Great Wall, it's awesome! Nice and clean modern bathrooms too-- the signs at the sinks say--"no unnecessary touching"! Meaning that they automatically come on when you place your hands under the faucets. Have fun in China!

It is very unwise to book services in advance through unknown Chinese companies advertising here. You will certainly pay more than you need to. You don't need an airport pick-up to get from the airport into town. There are aircon buses leaving every few minutes, and limitless metered taxis.

Peter N-H
http://members.axion.net/~pnh/China.html
