Beard Papas and Cream Puffs....

A beard papas opened up in my city and after seeing about it on the news, I decided to go and try it. Very good, and very light and not heavy or oversweet...though I can always go for things a bit too sweet at times.

Is beard papas as popular in Asia as the news reports say?

You are referring to the cream puffs?

Beard Papas is from Asia. It is originally from Japan. There's an outlet in Singapore. Located at basement food court of Ngee Ann City - Takashimaya.

There's another nice cream puff that I tried in Tokyo. It's from Hirota. Very nice.

roti boy was initially popular in Singapore. After a while it was copied by other places. Early part of this year the franchise was closed down due to the intense competition.

They are already in the U.S., getting more popular than Krispy Kreme donuts, wish they had more flavors like in Japan.
