Baseball game
 

We will be in Tokyo from April 4 till April 10 and would like to go to a Yomiuri Giants baseball game. Any suggestions on getting tickets?

Are you staying in a hotel w/an English speaking concierge? That is your best bet- call the concierge now and ask them to arrange for tickets if it is possible to get them.

I went to a midweek Giants game at Tokyo Dome last April and got a ticket at the ticket window.

The game had already started when I got there but had a choice of seats in different sections. Ended up with field level down the LF line.

mrw, how full was the stadium? If they want to go and see if they can get walk-up tickets, do you think there was a chance the stadium could be sold out mid-week, or were there lots of empty seats?

It really depends on who the Giants are playing whether or not seats will be available. I've been to Tokyo 2 times and both times I tried to get a Giants ticket at the walk up window, they said it was sold out and only "Standing room" tickets were available in right field. Anyways, each time I went it was 10 bucks and I have to say the experience wasn't too bad at all. Had a great time.

I think there were more than a few empty seats. There were quite a few other people buying tix when I did. It was against the Carp.
