Bangkok Tour Guides

Greetings,

Does anyone here have any experience with personal guided tours of Bangkok?

My girlfriend and I are both in our 20's and we had a great experience with a tokyo free guide on a recent trip and was hoping for more of the same.

I'd read in this forum about a guide by the name of Tong. Any more thoughts on her?

Or perhaps I should be so bold and spontaneous as to hire a tuk tuk driver to be our impromptu guide.

Thanks a lot!

You don't hire a tuk tuk driver for a guide. They are drivers...not guides. And who would want to be in a noisy, pollution producing tuk tuk for a tour? If you want a guide, then hire a real one. There have been several listed on this forum. Happy Travels!

Tong is great. She can be reached at TourwithTong.com. If she is booked, she will have a team member that can help. Many on this forum have enjoyed her team members as well.

Tong is the best-if you can get her-she is very busy. A wonderful person inside & out. She was our guide in Bangkok in October-Chris
