Bangkok Shangri-La or Lebua
 
We are going on our first trip to Asia. Which hotel do you recommend for the best Bangkok experience? Luxury as well as convenience.

The Shangi-La or Lebua?

Shangri La is better IMO.

The Krungthep Wing of the Shangri-La.

Definitely Shangri-La. You will enjoy a riverview of Cho Phraya river from the balcony of Krungthep Wing.

I did the research for this and chose the Shangri-La. Lebua appeared like a converted condo.
