Bangkok Medical Services

Anyone needing medical or surgical attention in BKK needs to check out Bumrungrad Hospital. A relatively new hospital -- American accredited -- abt 50 speciality areas -- serviced apts for patients -- inexpensive -- and best of all, wonderful care. We are taking advantage of our next trip to BKK to have some dental work done at Bumrungrad.

Bumrungrad is located in the Sukumvit area @ Soi 3 -- near the Nana BTS station. So it is convenient to everything in BKK either by BTS or taxi. Check it out @ www.bumrungrad.com

There have been many posts about Bumrungrad here. A number of regulars have registered with the hospital. We both had our teeth cleaned there last trip.

Bumrungrad has been around for quite a few years

I have been registered at Bumrungrad for years. I recommend that my friends register there if they are staying in Thailand for over a month. An executive physical (2 days worth) is only about $300+.

60 Minutes did a segment about the place. It plays on a loop in some of the waiting rooms at the hospital.

The place is more like a five star hotel than a hospital. And one of the best Italian restaurants in town is on the 2nd floor of the lobby.

Sorry! Guess I got carried away with enthusiasm after my experience there. Didn't see anything about BIH -- truthfully, didn't search.

It is nice to know that almost everyone else has good experiences there, also. Thanks for your comments.

Glad you had a good experience there, too.
