>>>UPdate, Update:
The Four Seasons proved to be an ideal choice for me! Lovely hotel with lots of charm. Great location next to a Skytrain stop. And best of all...the pool is as good as I could have imagined. OLympic size rectangle and thankfully, it is shaded for much of the morning. For me it is world's better than the Peninsula pools. Temperature is perfect--no artificial chilling can be detected.<<< Rise and shine, crunchy! And yes, I just knew you would love the BKK FS, one of my all-time business/leisure favourites - and her SIN sister isn't half-bad. (And to be fair to those Peninsula pools: the occasional gorgeous Asian women.) Do remember those in-room massage treatments, and if you're feeling 'frisky', walking this evening to that little Spasso night spot at the Grand Hyatt Erawan. (You did book a 'double room', yes?) Congrats on your choice of lodging, check out those fine fares over on singaporeair, and should you be in Singapore tomorrow and Sunday, a certain cherished Singaporean airline is a little supporter of a little 'ladies' professional golf tournament. (Every now and then, little perks with the job.) Savour Bangkok! (And don't forget to help support the Thai economy with your shopping - 'we' thank you.) macintosh (robert) ...
