Bangkok Hotel Question

Has anyone one had any experience with the Eastin Hotel in Bangkok? It used to be called the Empress Hotel. Also would like information on the Swiss Park (not Lodge) Hotel? Any info would be greatly appreciated?

I do not know the Eastin, nor the Swiss Park. However, I stopped by the Swiss Lodge. I do not know the price range you are looking for, but I stayed at a cheap hotel called Wild Orchid Villa in Bangkok last week during the World AIDS Conference. My sister-in-law recommended it since I was not on expense account. It was 500 Bhat/night. My five floor room (number 503) was very quiet and clean. If you are looking for *** star lodging, it is not for you. It is basic, clean, and cheap. Good luck.

TimNYC- Who does one contact for info on the AIDS conference for next year? I know people in the health-care profession who might be interested. Happy Travels!
