Bangkok Hotel- near BTS & late check out

Jump to last reply

Would love some tips on some good hotels in Bangkok that are within a 5-10 minute walk of a BTS station and offer late checkout. I'm SPG gold, but tend to have issues with them allowing late checkout even though it's 'guaranteed'. (Same with the auto-upgrades...) So I'm not partial to them...

I've only stayed on the river before, namely in the Krungthep (sp?) wing of the Shangri-La, which is crazily convenient for BTS & river boats. I'll be flying in from Laos at some point Thursday (most likely into DMK, no flight booked as of yet) and I've got a 2am flight out of BKK on a Sunday morning, so only 2 nights this go-around, so thinking somewhere more central may be best?
Unsure what I'll be up to Friday, but plan on spending most of Saturday at JJ as I have a long list of items from friends/family... hence the want for a late checkout (even 4pm would be great!)

Any tips would be greatly appreciated. :)
