Bangkok hotel help
 
I'm looking for suggestions on an inexpensive hotel in Bangkok (preferably under $40 USD) in a convenient location. Any suggestions on what area of the city is best to stay in?

The 'Classic Place' hotel was recommended to me and is one that my travel agent books tours to. I have full confidence in their advice so check it out. They have a great website. Three restaurants, pool etc and very reasonable rates. Handy to the skytrain and a free shuttle to the Trade Centre shopping areas.

If you are of the backpacker inclination stay on the Khao San Road. Lots of cheap guesthouses and fun travelers from all over the world. If you aren't a "backpacker" I would probably stay far away though.
