Be advised that Hotels.com is offering a great deal right now. Stay 2 nights and get the third free. Also if you book 10 nights you get a free night to use in the future- god for one year and up to $400 for participating hotels. I just booked for our BKK trip in January and got a great rate overall for the Royal Club Room at the Plaza Athenee in BKK. The room is 45 sq meters with breakfast and full use of their club lounge.

Now I have a question for Starwoods Preferred Guest participants. The Plaza Anthenee says I do not qualify for Starwoods points because I booked thru Hotels.com. is that right?

Ok I don't get the points but this deal is hard to beat- its a significant discount on their Royal Club room.

That means I won't get starwood points for my upcoming stay at the Princess Kaiulani on Oahu, booked thru hotels dot com. Oh well...
