Bangkok Business trip
Will be for 4 days in Bangkong on a business trip, any special advices or suggestions? I won´t have much free time, but I want to spend it in the best way possible

The one thing you would probably want to see would be the Grand Palace. There are many other places that are often recommended: Wat Pho, Wat Arun, Jim Thompson house... With your limited time it is hard to say how much you will be able to see. We also don't really know what your interests are!
If you are in Bangkok on a Saturday/Sunday, I would suggest you make the skytrain/subway ride out to the weekend market, Chatuchak. It is the most amazing array of goods for sale! A couple of hours will probably be sufficient for a look. It will be very hot and very crowded. But fascinating!!
If you have only limited time for shopping and would like to see a Thai mall, check out MBK (Mah Bon Krong..sp) at the National Stadium skytrain station.
If you want upscale shopping, go to the Siam skytrain stop and check out Paragon Mall. Nice! Also Central World or Gaysorn Plaza. Plenty of options, and all in a central location.
Enjoy your visit. You don't say when you'll be going. If it is in the next month or two, prepare for very hot weather. April is the hottest month... and it does get really steamy!

Will you be visiting a Thai business? On one of my trips there I combined business with pleasure and added a few days on at the end of the trip, after all, if you are coming from the U.S. it is such a long flight and takes a day or two to adjust the body clock.
When I visited the Thai business (owned by a Japanese Company) the management were wonderful hosts to my husband and I and even loaned us the Managing Direcors' Car and driver for a day. They wined and dined us and even took us to their favorite massage place, which we still visit on our many return trips.
There are so many wonderful sights to see and places to visit in BKK and the suggestions made so far are a good starting place.

If you can add on a few days, by all means do. There is so much to see and do in Bangkok.
Tell us a bit about your interests. There are marvelous Buddhist Wats all over the city. The most famous two are the Temple of the Emerald Buddha (on the grounds of the Grand Palace) and Wat Po (the Reclining Buddha). These sites are located right next to each other, and near the rivers, so you can take a public water taxi to visit them.
Personally, I don't recommend group tours. Nor do I recommend Murang Boran, which is a theme park about Thai history.
If you are very interested in the arts of SE Asia, I'd recommend the Prasart Museum, a private indoor/outdoor museum with a marvelous collection. Advance reservations are required, and you are escorted by a docent for the individual tour.
The Jim Thompson House, his personal compound made up of old traditional teak houses is well worth seeing. Also, take home some beautifully designed silks from the Jim Thompson stores.

The Erawan Museum is incredible.It's a giant 3 headed elephant in a green oasis,in the middle of the dusty hustle and bustle of the neighboring streets. At the end of the BTS line + a short taxi ride...

I agree the 3-headed elephant is pretty cool, but it is a bit off the beaten path. I would leave it for another trip to Bangkok and try to see the numerous places that are closer together in the city when on such a short trip. We don't know yet how much tourist time the OP has.

Now, do you have a bit of discretion where you'll be staying for work? If so, will give a shameless promo for some wonderful friends and staff at my current BKK business favourite, the Shangri-La's Krungthep Wing. (As of late last week, the property was as special as ever.)
The hotel works for me with easy public transport 'into town' for meetings and with the riverside setting and fine lap pool for relaxation. (And some pretty marvelous masseuses.)
Finally, do you have a bit of discretion with your choice/class of air carrier? If so, can assure you a certain all-time cherished Singaporean airline continues to provide rather fine service between BKK and SIN. (Last Friday, no exception - and SQ's BKK SilverKris Lounge remains the occasional quiet, refined alternative, relative to 'other' BKK airline lounges.)

WOOOOW I am really amazed and so grateful for your help and tips. And I found out, I have to really stay as long as I can there....you gave me so many ideas, I want to try EVERYTHING
