October is always a possibility for me. I've been in BKK the last 3 out of 4 Octobers, typically the last 10-12 days of the month. I won't know for a while though. Depends on whether I "need" a mileage run by that time.

I probably won't stay in Ubud but I'll definitely visit the area. It's my first visit to Bali and I'll be travelling by myself so it would be cool to meet fellow travellers!
