We will be in Bangkok Oct. 22nd thru 25th. Any Fodor folks in town? Then we are off to Manila for 5ays.

October is always a possibility for me. I've been in BKK the last 3 out of 4 Octobers, typically the last 10-12 days of the month. I won't know for a while though. Depends on whether I "need" a mileage run by that time. :)

we leave bkk on the 22nd at 11PM.... we will be at Marriott mayfair so maybe we can catch up quickly in the sukhumvit area...

Prachuap if you read the OP's post he is asking if any "Fodor folks" are in town and not how many Thais are in Bangkok. GTG is encouraged on Fodors so it's best if you stop making negative comments.

On 23 October I'm hoping to be feeling a bit sad, as me and Rosemary will have come to the end of our fantastic 4 weeks in Bali and Lombok (sigh!).

Staying in Sanur from 25 September to 2 October
Then from 2 October to 9 October in Ubud (Ayung Raka Resort)
9 October to 23 October still to be arranged.

we are in ubud from sept 17-22, so guess our paths will not cross.. then we head to Lombok.

Our plans have changed- we will now be in Bangkok Nov 8 thru the 12th, then we head to Manila for 5 days

we will be home by then... next time

rhkkmk, I will be in Bali September 16-20 and September 23-27. Not sure where I'm staying yet.

I probably won't stay in Ubud but I'll definitely visit the area. It's my first visit to Bali and I'll be travelling by myself so it would be cool to meet fellow travellers!
