Bali- top 3 places to stay

Hello,

I'm travelling to Bali for my honeymoon in Feb end for 5 nights. I need your suggestions on the below:

My to do list- surfing, clubbing, elephant ride, spa, temple, amidst nature place

Which top 3 places would you suggest where I can get to do the above things

What should be the route ?

Hideout Bali is booked on those dates so any other suggestions for resorts?

Underwater place? (No scuba diving or snorkelling)

Thanks :)

Are you asking for 3 places to stay in 5 nights? If so, you'll be spending half your time relocating with little left for the activities you mention. Pick one place, I suppose on the coast (others will point you in the right direction, I've only stayed in Ubud) and take day trips for the activities your location doesn't offer. Resign yourself to the fact that you may not get to them all with just 4 days.

Please do not ride elephants - the elephants are terribly abused.

As MmePerdu suggests, you need to choose one place to stay. There are hundreds of lovely resorts in Bali. Decide whether you want to stay at the beach or inland, near Ubud. Bali is a small island and you can get to anywhere on the island in an hour or so depending on traffic.

Get yourself a good guidebook and start doing some research.

BTW, this is the third place you have requested info on this month - Switzerland, Turkey and now Bali.

I would suggest Sanur as good, first time base for your trip. Have a look at Villa Puri Ayu or Villa Shanti but get onto booking your accommodation quickly as places in this price range book out quickly. There is a fantastic Indian Restaurant there too.
It suits all age groups, has everything you need without being over the top and is a great base for day trips and exploring.

Hi everyone, Since i'm planning for a short trip (may be 6 nights), like you all suggested, hopping places to stay will be a waste of time. So could you suggest a place we can stick to and still travel during day time and come back?

Jimbara, Ubud, Gili Island looks great to me. Any other important and beutiful places you would suggest in options?

You could use Jimbaran or Ubud as a base. Transport issues would make Gilli Island not practical as a base.
