flight details from Chicago area to BKK

I am trying to book our flights in December from the Milwaukee/Chicago area to Bangkok. Any recommendations on Airlines, connections, and what are the names of the airports? Would we go from O'hare- Tokyo - BKK? Getting confused with the details

What route you fly depends on the airline. While ORD-NRT-BKK used to be a typical route, since United eliminated their flight from Narita to Bangkok, you might want to consider other options. ANA does fly this route, but look also at Korean Air, which stops in Seoul, Cathay Pacific, which stops in Hong Kong, for instance.

Your best bet price-wise will probably be some combination of United and ANA. As Kathie says, only ANA flies between NRT and BKK. You can fly between ORD to NRT via either United or ANA.
