bali hotels--CONRAD
 

i have learned today that the conrad hotels is opening a new hotel in bali in march or early april...its to be located just above nusa dua in tanjung benoa...intitial rates as low as $70....

does anyone know anything about this hotel and its location other than this??

Good question! I just made reservations there for the end of May for $78/nite. The pay-in-advance rate is $62.

Reservations can be made for March 16 and beyond.

i did find that i could make reservations through their telephone number in usa...i got $70/nite++....i'm looking forward to it...we will be there june 4-6...will you still be there??

Hi. I am a frequent visitor to bali. The conrad sounds like a good option. Another area worth checking out is Seminyak. Some excellent restaurants all in the vicinity of half a km.

rhkmhk, your post just reminded me to change my reservation. My original plan was to leave June 4 for Jakarta but after seeing more photos of gorgeous Bali I decided stay another day and leave (for Osaka) on June 5.

Also, when adding that day to my reservation, I selected the AAA rate, so no my rate is exactly 70.00 USD for King Deluxe Courtyard View.

If current plans remain in place, we should have a Fodorite GTG in Bali, evening of June 4, Conrad Bali, at the poolside bar.

sounds good to me....we plan to spend the evening at the hotel....we arrive in bali that day at 2PM...how will we know each other...
