Bali Holiday
My husband and I are heading for Bali from 2/12 to approx 8 days.
Can anyone recommend good sightseeing trips, retaurants around Seminyak and Ubud and is there a surfing school that anyone knows of. I would love to have a few lessons.Any other information on Bali would be great. |
we found that having a driver for part of our bali stay this summer was fantastic....we had the famous putu often mentioned of fodors...
do a search for him on fodors... he knows great restaurants that are kind to western stomachs and takes you to lovely places.... |

On Seminyak main road lovely basic spa called jari menari - great setting, very reasonable. The Spa at the Ritz carlton, Thalasso, gorgeous. Seafood at one of the shacks on Jimbaran beach. If u have a Sun in Ubud and want to splurge book in advance for the brunch at Begawan Giri at Biji - what a spread. Uluwatu temple is interesting, not amazing and the monkeys can be troublesome. We rented a motorcycle for a day in Ubud and really enjoyed driving around - saw The Four Seasons Sayan the same day. Def go for a rice paddy field walk in Ubud.
