baggage restriction sin to bkk
i have been looking at tiger and air aisa for a one way tkt from sin to bkk. the limitation for baggage seems to be one bag per person, not to exceed 15kg. how strictly do they enforce this restriction? anyone know? i will probably have three suitcases to ck in. will i be in trouble and end up in excess baggage hell?

I am booked one way from Sin to Krabi with tiger and i too am a bit concerned. I does say on the webite that you have to pay the excess S$5 per kilo but i dont know how strict they are.
Check out Tripadvisor and search the forum there, because i do remember someone writing about it. Or do a search here. I go November so if this is b4 you will post a report when i get back to let you know.... Smeagol |

you two guys have been real helpful.lol. if i have to pay excess baggage fee, i may have to downgrade from the nana hotel. maybe i can bunk with the hombre. :-).
|
i didn't mean bunking with hombre was a downgrade from the nana. quite the contrary. don't read me wrong, ok?
|
maybe gf would not be happy with that??

I'm already booked on Air Asia and did not even think about checking the baggage limitations. Does this limitation include your carry on or is it just for the checked luggage?
I had planned to do some shopping in Bangkok, but I will probably need to stick to small things such as jewelry now. My husband is just going to love that, but what an excuse to buy small and expensive! Since the tickets were not very expensive, I should still come out ahead even paying for the excess. |
