Audio Travel Guide

Hi. I am sighted; my husband is blind. We are traveling to China in May, and I'm searching for an audio travel guide for my husband to use prior to our travels. I trolled everywhere on the web and haven't been able to locate one. Your advice is appreciated.

At different places at Chinese tourist spots it is sometimes possible to rent an audio tour - Roger Moore does the Forbidden City for example!

Many Beijing sites in particular have audio tours now, but the Roger Moore account of the Forbidden City was abandoned some years ago.

Its a shame to hear that Roger has been thrown over!!! He had such a wonderfully RP for an audio guide in China!

Anyway - just to add this link

Its for HK and other places and not exactly sure how it works. There is lots of audio when you look up China but most of it is for language
learning - thats what I'm unsure of with the Insight Guide - if its about China or a quick course in Mandarin! That might be fun to listen to too of course!

Janev, thanks!
My husband is a great traveler...made my daughter and I climb down backwards into tombs in Cairo after he went first. I told him not to worry that Fodors' posters would come through for him.
Kind regards, Debra.
