ATM inside phuket airport?
 

Hello,

Can anyone help with this info? I will be arriving at midnight at Phuket from NYC connecting thru bangkok. I am going to try to get some money at BKK airport, but just in case I dont have time, is there an ATM machine in Phuket aiport?

Be careful as all ATMs airside at Bangkok airport only dispenses USD. I would wait until you arrived at Phuket and find a machine after collecting your luggage. There should be many.

oh really? thats very odd but very helpful info. Perhaps best to take some $100 bills with me and go to an exchange place instead.
I am just concern about arriving at Phuket at midnight and exchange places would be closed.

CPT - you will be able to easily find ATMs at Phuket airport 24 hours a day so I would not worry. You can always exchange some Baht in BKK while in transit if you want to feel safe.

CPT, only the airside ATMs in BKK dispense US dollars. The ones in the baggage claim area and outside baggage claim all dispense baht. But if you are in transit you an't get to those areas. You'll be able to get baht at the Phuket airport. If there are flights landing, exchange places will be open.
