ATM in Railay??
 

My daughter will be going from Singapore up to Railay next weekend. She asked to see if any of you expert Fodorites know if she should pull out enough Baht from the airport ATM or if there are some in Railay itself.

Man, I hate getting tips for trips I don't get to go on!!

If my memory serves me correct, there is an ATM but when I was there it was a little 'tempremental'. I'd take enough Baht just incase.

There are two ATM'S. There is one at Viewpoint Resort and the second is at Railay Bay Resort, just past Ya Ya's

Actually, I have just been informed by my son, that I am out of date and that there are now around half a dozen ATM's at Railay!!

And Bob, I get enough bills FROM her, and I don't mean the green kind! She better pay for her own adventures, unless I get to come along....

I was just in Railay and there are plenty of ATM's, none of which were temperamental when I used them. However, as always, give her plenty of cash, credit cards, and travelers checks, just in case.
