Asiana Airlines

How is Asiana Airlines as a carrier. I see some cheap flights from Boston using them through Seoul. Thanks.

where are you thinking of going then?

Andy, Asiana generally gets excellent reviews. If you find a cheap flight, go for it.

A month ago, we flew Asiana on a short-haul, from Seoul to Hong Kong. The plane was a brand new 777, and the service was gracious and impeccable. To be fair, we were in Business Class, and there were only three of us in the entire section. However, from what we could gather, the professionalism of the cabin crew prevailed throughout the entire plane.

Flew Asiana in business class from Tokyo to Seoul, upstairs in a 747. It was excellent.

in 2008 they have only lost 4 planes, but of course it is only july so there is still time for more..

We flew them some years back and the service was fine- I say go for it- most of the Asian airlines are better than any US airline.

THe award ticket I finally got (after the JFK-BKK flight was cancelled) in on Asiana in business class from LAX to Soeul, then to Hong Kong. Trip is mid-October, will review it as part of my trip report (ANA on return)

The problem is that they have really long layovers on the return trip. I will keep searching.

My first trip to China was on Asiana. Very nice.

Good service.

The seats were molded for smaller behinds than mine, though.
