Asia in early October

Hello,

I will be travelling to Shanghai the second week of October 2011 and the first week of October 2011 is when I can actually do personal travel. I was thinking of travel to one of the following: Taiwan, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand (or I am looking for suggestions in the area).

Looking at the weather it looks like (in general) October is still rainy season. Can anyone give me feedback about the mentioned countries and weather in beginning of October. Or can recommend a good country to visit in the area in October?

Thanks

Well it will be pretty rainy in all these countries but it doesn't mean it will rain all day, every day. There are sunny days too. Just go where you want and deal with the weather once you're there. There's not much you can do.

While October is pretty rainy in SE Asia, Taiwan is not. Indeed, the wetaher in Taiwan looks pretty good in October.

It is still typhoon season though...

The weather in India should be very nice. I believe it is about a 5 hour flight to Delhi.
