Asia Air Pass?
ARe there any air passes for travel after you arrive in Asia. Want to see as much as possible and flying would help me.
|
I know Cathay Pacific has an AIR PASS, that starts at 1300 USD per person and allows you to visit I believe 18 countries in Asia. You can visit the cathay pacific website for details..good luck!

Both Cathay Pacific and Malaysian Air have passes you can buy that take you from the US to their hub city, and on flights within Asia that usually require returning to the hub. Thai airlines has a pass you can buy for flights within Thailand (a number of flights for a fixed price). It all depends on where you want to go. I also find the flight prices within Asia are pretty reasonable without an airpass.

Well now I learnt something new. I was thinking of going with Asia AirPass from Cathay, but the Thai Pass sounds interesting, has anyone bought this, if so what are their thoughts. My Itin is somthing like this, flying out of Toronto and will like to visit Thailand, Singapore, Tokyo, Hong Kong. Thanks!

i believe the thai pass is just for travel in thailand.

Consider the places you are going and you are flying from Toronto, the Cathay Pacific Asia Pass is a good consideration, since Hong Kong is lying on the center of the places that you are planning to travel. You can get more info from their website at www.cathay.ca

What about an air pass within China? I'm just starting to plan, but if I add up: Beijing to Xi'an, Xi'an to Chongqing, Wuhan to Shanghai, Shanghai to Guilin, Guilin to Hong Kong. Anything that can save me money on all these?
