Actually, I also travelling for the first time on this pass in October returning back in November. I have got my tickets. Did not face any problem.<BR><BR>Suggest you buy tickets immediately because you neeed to have confirmed tickets for entire journey. This poses some problems as the pass does not allow you to travel for code-shared flights.

Hi,<BR>We used the Access Asia pass on Malaysia Air in June. It was a pretty good deal. Got all of our connections but it took a while to actually get the tickets in hand. They really pack people on the planes, seats seemed closer together than on US carriers, full loads on most flights, the audio/visual system was great - who wants to sleep anyway! Good luck. Charlotte;<BR><BR>We got our tickets from mid October to mid November. Started with bali(4 days)to Singapore(2)to Langkawi(3)to kaulalumpur(2)to phuket(5)and Bangkok(8). The loose logic is that it starts to rain in November in Bali and the rainy season ends in October in Thailand. I am sure we will still catch some tropical rain. We booked our tickets 3 months ago and have not received them yet. This worked out OK as it gave us time to shop for travel insurance. (Generally you gat the best deal in insurance if you purchase the policy within seven days of ticketing). When you do call to make a reservation you need whole trip planned and changing later is expensive. I forgot how much they charge. <BR><BR>For those who have already made arrangements any recommendations on lodging especially in Langkawi and Phuket?<BR>

I got my tickets in 2 weeks, since the booking by the travel agent has to be confirmed by the airlines.<BR><BR>How much did the travel insurance cost? I haven't bought it? Also, I am looking for budgent accomodation in Hkk, Kualalampur & langkavi. I have seen some budget beach resorts approx 40USD in langkavi but HKK seems very expensive -close to 100 (prime location).<BR><BR>Any suggestions are welcome
