Apartment Hotels KL Malaysia

Hi Can anone recommend an apartment hotel in KL? MiCasa sounds good but what is the location like? Is it near restaurants, shops etc.?. Is the KLCC more convenient for a short stay or should I look at Golden Traingle KL.? Thanks in advance. settlers

Only one I know is Ascot serviced Apartments which were ok and good value if a family.

At the Ascot I think the studio was about USD 120-140 or the 2 bedroomed about 180 ( for up to 4 people ), it has a Gym, pool, tennis, you get kitchenette with microwave etc.

if yuo wanted cheaper Holiday villa Apartments from around USD 60 to 100 depending on size ( top end is 2 beroomed for up to 4 people), again kitchenette etc

hi

micasa has got a good restaurant of its own. cant quite remember the name, maybe cilantro.

its not too far from klcc and the golden triangle but sometimes the traffic jam makes the journey feel really long! and the taxi drivers may not want to take you to those areas during peak hours even though that is illegal.

check out this website for a choice of hotels and apartments. i have used them before for langkawi and they were ok.

I stayed a year or so back at the Prince Hotel which is opposite the JW Marriott at Bukit Bintang and I was in the hotel part but I'm sure they also had Serviced Apartments. I had no complaints about the hotel except for an extremely noisey foyer full of Taiwanese tourists.

I also spent about a year at the Pacific Regency apartments next to the Shangri-La hotel & Hard Rock Cafe. These are comfortable apartments with a swimmming pool on top and great views of the city.

I haven't stayed at the KL Ascott but I spent about 6 months at the Ascott in Jakarta and I thought they were excellent, the facilities were great but I would imagine the cost is a lot more than than the others I've mentioned.

Yes, Ascott properties are nice. I checked out Ascott during my August trip to Bangkok. Happy Travels!
