I am trying to establish whether the combined posters of Fodor's have been to every country in the world. We have crossed a large number so far as having been visited by someone on Fodor's. These countries remain :

I've been at the airports of Guinea and Kuwait--does that count?

I think Thursday has been to a few of the stans, and perhaps others on this list as well. Another former poster, Thit Cho, has probably been to quite a few, too.

Do airports count? Imelda and her husband accidentally got off the plane in Bujumbura, Burundi. Because they told that story I made a point to stay in my seat even though that's one fantastic-looking airport.

When I first started posting here in 2004 there was someone who went quite a bit to the Middle East, I'm pretty sure to Iraq. But I can't remember his screen name.

Oops, sorry, I don't know how I wandered onto the Asia board. I thought I was in Africa/Middle East. Anyway, I am pretty sure I've read a report or two on Gabon, and definitely Mad, on the Africa board.

Learnt to waterski in Liberia and visited Nigeria.

I did a brief border crossing into Iraq quite a few years ago, but I don't know that I'd count it.

There have to be lots of Iraq was vets out there in Fodorland who have been there.

I've been to the Marshall Islands. Was there in 1979 for about a month! Mainly in Majuro but also bouncing around on one of their little cargo ships.

Yes, stormbird, those have been mentioned on the original thread in the Lounge. Only those listed by yanumpty just above are left to be spoken for.

I'm sure if the leftovers are posted on the Australia/Pacific forum, Solomons and Kiribati would be crossed off the list.
