Angkor Wat: Night Market

Is this easy to get to, and different enough from the Old Market to warrant a special trip?

New facility just west off Sivatha? Hours: 4 pm to midnight?

We did go to the "new night market". It was relatively quiet (much quieter than the one in Chiang Mai) and the vendors all had the same items.

Very easy to get to, as is everything in SR.

It's different because:
1. It's at night, so a little cooler!
2. Items for sale generally a little more upmarket than the Old Market
3. Not quite so much harassment from the vendors, so more relaxed
4. Nice atmosphere-be sure to have a cocktail in the little bar in the back of the market.

It's not a huge market, worth spending an hour or so....

It's easy to get to-you can certainly walk from Pub street after dinner for example.
It's worth a trip. We went a couple of times and bought some lovely silk scarves.

Thanks so much for the info. I'll give it a quick look.

OBTW: Is this a good place to buy silk blouses?
