And where do we eat?
 

We are going to be in HK in August. Having read all the wonderful comment, we chose the Icon. Does anybody have a tip about a nice restaurant serving really excellent Chinese food? We can always go there by MTR or taxi if it is that far. Would appreciate some tips.

What kind of Chinese food?

Walk around and look for busy restaurants full of Chinese people.

Do you fancy fresh fish, lobster, clams, mussels, squid served the chinese way and eaten outdoors along the sea wall? Then later take a stroll through the small, pleasant town and stop at one of a dozen different western pubs or wine bars. If yes, then Sai Kung is the place for you. Bus, minibus and taxi will take you. Thank goodness, no MTR.
Even Cicerone goes there, i hope.

we like everything except maybe testicles and those specialties
have been in HK several times already
