Ambassador Transit Lounge Changi Airport
Can anyone help me please with advice on the use of the Transit Lounge in Terminal 3 at Changi Airport. We are spending two days in Singapore en route to Manchester and depart at 11.10pm. It would be great to freshen up etc and relax before our flight. The Ambassador Lounge advertises all kinds of facilities, for a fee which is ok, but has anyone actually 'stopped over' there. Assistance greatly appreciated.

We flew Manchester to Perth and stopped over at Changi this Christmas.
It is hard to know what to suggest when it comes to the airport. It is very well planned, very comfortable with very good facilities. However, it becomes to easy to laze around the airport when on long stopovers and by the time we had done a side trip to Phuket, we had passed through 3 times and spent far too much time there.
With two days in Singapore, I don't see any reason to spend any more time than you have to at the airport. It is a beautiful city with plenty to see, two days is a perfect timescale, I would simply arrive at the airport early evening, eat and fly.
The new gardens at Marina Bay are beautiful, try to get to see them.

I've used both the Lounge and the Ambassador Hotel within the terminals.
Showers, wifi, computer desks, lounges & chairs that you could have a nap in are all available in the lounge, along with massages ( within certain hours).
It's a very useful facility, well run & reasonably priced.

Thank you both for your advice. After checking out of the hotel and then sightseeing all day it would be lovely to enjoy a nice shower etc before our flight at 11.10pm especially considering the warm weather.
