airport transfer in Hong Kong

hi,we are a family of 5 adults and are visiting Hong Kong from dec 28th to 2nd Jan.We were wondering which was the best way to get from the airport to Hong Kong island.Any help would be appreciated. thanks

While taxis can sit 5, it'll be very cramped and have little room for luggage, so you'll need 2 cabs, about HK$300-350 each, depending on where on HK Island you're going.

Or you can get a 7-seater from one of the limo companies (one quotes HK$550-650)

Or take the Airport Express train - 4 people can ride for HK$250, and the 5th for regular price of $100 for $350 total. Then take a free shuttle or 2 taxis to wherever you need to go.

Or take one of the Cityflyer buses. About HK$40 per person.

I would definitely go with the Airport Express as rkkwan suggested. I've used it twice in my 4 visits to Hong Kong and it's by far the fastest and smoothest way to get into town from the airport.

or take the limo bus service

about $16.25 US per person

they also have a van service that may be cheaper with all the people involed

hawaiiantraveler - That's one of the two companies on the HKG airport site which I linked to.

With 5 people, definitely ask for a 7-seater plan. No waiting for other people, no driving around town dropping off other people first. And cheaper.
