Aircon in hotel rooms in China
 

Silly question this - as you know I'm spending a little holiday in China over xmas and am starting to book hotels. I always find hotel rooms are hot even in mid-winter. All the hotels say their aircon is managed centrally and it will be set to warm. It is a dilemma for me.
Has anyone elso had this problem? Its such a hassle!
I will spend time in Shanghai , Sizhou, Hanzhou, Xian etc Any hotel suggestions for these places where one can manage the aircon in one's own hotel room oneself?
