CAN YOU TAKE VITAMINS IN PILL BOXES OR DO YOU NEED THE ORIGINAL BOTTLES WHEN FLYING TO CHINA?

In general, it is always wise to have all medications, vitamins, etc in their original bottle. That said, I've never (in some 25 years of international travel) had anyone check.

THANK YOU KATHIE FOR YOUR REPLY. IT SEEMS LIKE THE OLDER WE GET THE MORE VITS WE HAVE TO TAKE. I FEEL LIKE A PILL BOTTLE MYSELF SOME TIMES. WILL TAKE THE MEDS IN THEIR BOTTLES AND TAKE A CHANCE WITH THE OTHER VITS. GUESS WE WON'T FALL APART IN THREE WEEKS...

i take pills in both plastic bags and in the regular script bottles...as kathie says bottles are best and for vitamins it would not matter if they were taken from you

If you're carrying the vitamins in your carry-on, then they need to be in the original bottle. But I wouldn't think you'd need them with you, so I'd pack them in my checked bags.
