we are planning to fly from bkk to seam reap and then to saigan and then back to bkk. can somebody tell me best way to do this and how to get in touch with those airlines or agents. we will be going in november 2006.

gzzer, sorry, I can't answer your question, but you could check www.travelocity.com to get an idea of who flies where - and/or talk to a travel agent. Also, you might get more responses if you post with a more specific title, e.g. "Flights BKK-Siem Reap-SGN-BKK" or similar. Posts with vague titles often get ignored by the very people who might know the answer.

Oh, one more thing - I'm not normally a member of the Spelling Police, but if you're going to be searching the Web you'll need to check place names - e.g. Saigon (or Ho Chi Minh City) not saigan, Siem Reap not seam reap.

BTW, to locate a travel agent I would start with your local Yellow Pages, and to contact an airline their website will be a good start.

Many of us have used Eddie at Seatours, the Am Ex agency in Bangkok. If you do a search here, you'll find his email address. Only Bangkok Air flies between Bangkok and Siem Reap. Only VN Air flies between Siem Reap and HCMC. You'll have a choice of several carriers bewteen HCMC and BKK.

i think you may have to fly back to bkk to go on to saigon, but you can perhaps fly to phenom phen and then on to saigon...

bangkok air has a web site for the SR from bkk flight...they may have added saigon flights but i do not think so...

vietnam air probably flies to saigon from bkk

bkk air has an "800" if you are in the usa...

i was unaware of the VN airline schedule

Vietnam Airlines (VN) have 4 flights per day ( current schedule ), Siem Reap to Ho Chi Minh City, 2 x ATR-72 turbo props ( 1 hr 20 )and 2 with A320 jets ( 1 hr ). Unfortunately you can't do one airline for those 3 sectors, BKK-REP ( Siem reap ) is only Bangkok Airways, between HCMC and Bangkok you have a choice of Thai, Vietnam Airlines and Air France, one wat fares can be expensive compared with returns, Air France BKK-SGN return including taxes is about USD 215.

I would contact Eddie and see what can be done, very reliable for cheap fares.
