Agra to Jaipur

Can anyone recommend a driver from Agra to Jaipur. I would like an a/c car. How much is the trip likely cost (it is only one way).

There's a perfectly adequate bus.

What are you afraid of?

Seeing as you posted about this on another thread as well, I'll try and help out...
If you are working with a tour operator, you can arrange through them as the poster in the other thread did.
-or-
Contact your hotel in Agra and ask for a price quote for an a/c car and driver - I am sure they can arrange it.
-or-
You could join fuzzy on the bus...

there are always plenty of drivers hanging out around hotels who would be glad to drive you...

i should think it would cost in the $40-50 range but i am not sure of that...

Fuzzy, I am a photographer and writer. The bus won't stop where and when I want it to so I can get photos and ask questions. Thanks for your sensible suggestions Craig.

I have posted the same advice in another post, but here is it again, answering this precise question :

In December we travelled with a wonderful driver : Asif. He is from Jaipur but travels all over India. He was very careful, very flexible, very helpful, very punctual and very interesting....very everything. We couldn't have chosen better. We learned a lot with him, he answered all our questions, helped us to chose itinerary or hotels when we needed advices but leaving us totally free to take any decision when we had a precise idea of what we needed.
His prices are around 28-30 euros/day, all included.
Here is his email : [email protected]
and his website : http://users.skynet.be/independent-driver/

Have a wondrful time in India
