Agoda.com really helped me out
 
I had a pre-paid reservation, requirequired by the resort, in Bali that Agoda.com made for me. The conditions were that it was a special non-refundable rate at The Chedi Club in a villa for $390 USD plus tax. This is $75-$100+ /night less than Agoda has been able to offer it at. I made a mistake and booked and paid for 4 nights when I was only going to be in Bali 3 nights. I was using Agoda elsewhere and they were after about 3 weeks to get the Chedi Club to refund me the one night saving me well over $400 with the 20% tax. I have used them in years past in Thailand and Malaysia and found their rates to be competitive within 3-6% and their service to be very good. I thought I should share.

so are you saying that they changed the res and refunded the one night??

We too have had first class service from Agoda. Our recent trip to Sri Lanka, (during the flooding), was on and off several times.
Throughout it all, they were happy to change reservations and even to offer full refunds if we required.
Yes, high praise for Agoda. Our experience with them has been a pure pleasure.

I've always had good experiences with agoda, but have never had to request a refund. It's good to hear from two of you that you had such great service from them.

View Talay Services by Phuwiang Property Hotel.
Apt Location: 477/42 View Talay 5 Building C Dong Tarn Beach, Pattaya. Thailand.

Dear Agoda:
On Monday January 14, I arrived at the above Apartment Location to stay in the Apartment I paid you for. I was first advised that the Apt was not ready at 2.30pm. After waiting 5 hours until dark outside their office I was told that the Apartments was not available. It is now dark outside an I am waiting for an Apartment with no success.
Eventually a different Broker from a different company placed me in a different Apt in a Different Building for 2 nights.
I allready paid Agoda for 1 week stay.
I was left waiting 5 hours from your Agent.
Right now I am stranded in Pattaya with my Vacation destroyed not knowing where I am going to stay.
I paid you for the above referenced Apartment and now I need you to immediately get involved and sort this mess out.
We will discuss compensation and damages later but right now FIX YOUR PROBLEM.
