Cicerone she was definately wearing very nice sandles the whole joke I thought was that the "chinese slippers" seemed a definate step down in stlye. Like I said it was many years ago and people weren't lined up down the street and we really enjoyed our afternoon there! J

I love tea time no matter where it is. I had my driver in Kuala Lumpur get me back to the Ritz Carlton everyday in time for tea. It's so relaxing and freshing after a morning of shopping and doing photography. Happy Travels!

Thanks for all the replys. That said I think I will just stop in to see the hotel and if tea is available and not packed I'll join in otherwise I'll do tea somewhere else.

guenmai-
Just wanted to say that your post made me smile, as I pictured your "lady of leisure" travel lifestyle

Cruisinred...I got a good chuckle at your above post...One of these days I'm going to pack my crisp linen clothes and big hat and take the Orient Express from KL to Bangkok...I can then sit in the dining car and tea all the way there... And I absolutely must not forget to pack my white gloves! Smiles. Happy Travels!
