Affordable accommodation in Yangon near Sule Pagoda

Jump to last reply

I've read about Yangon, Myanmar here in Fodor and immediately fell in love with the pagodas like Sule and Shwedagon. I searched more about Yangon and found these moving postcards http://www.movingpostcards.tv/yangon_rangoon/
where you can see the surrounding areas of a certain place.

I've also read about The Strand Hotel but it's too expensive for me. I'm a budget traveler so I would really appreciate if you could give me some tips about the affordable accommodations in Yangon which are good in quality. I prefer the ones near Sule Pagoda.

I would love to hear from you. Thank you!
