Advice re. Kaga-Onsen area in April
 

I will take a day trip trip from Kanazawa to Kaga-Onsen and use the CAN-bus, mountain loop to go around. I plan to stop at the Kaga Traditional Cultural Amenity (the hand-craft theme park )and at one of the two public onsens (Yamanaka OR Yamashiro). I looked at whatever descriptions in English I could find, but could not make a decision which onsen to visit. If you are familiar with both, which one would you recommend? Also, may I assume that towels are provided with the entry fee (or for rent)? Thanks for any feedback.
