A tour operator overwhelmingly mentioned on another site

I am still in the throes of gathering information from Indian tour operators for my trip early next year. I decided to do a Google search for Indian tour operators. Overwhelmingly Trinetra Tours was mentioned--like hundreds of times! And I didn't see any other tour operator mentioned. This seems suspicious to me and wonder if anyone has any thoughts….Thanks so much; choosing a tour operator is really important!

I've never herd of them... and getting mentioned a hundred times on another site seems very suspicious to me. The site isn't Trip Advertiser is it? I think they do a poor job of eliminating advertising and fake reviews. In any case, just the info you have given me would cause me to cross them off the list of possibilities.

There are so many tour operators in India, some good, marginal, and the lesser known ones find ways of putting themselves forward, including on forums. There's one I have no doubt about on some threads here now, good enough that a number of people have responded, a trip report with glowing generalities but nothing specifically personal. In any case, do pay attention when you get that feeling.

Should read "..some good, some marginal.."

I, too, have never heard of them. There are two or three operators who get favorable reports on Fodors that I would consider first if I were going to use a tour company for India. Probably Castle and King.

We used castle and Kings on both of our trips to India. They did a fabulous job forums, were flexible both in planning and on the run. Some days we changed things up depending on how tired we were, and it never was a problem.
