A DAY IN SINGAPORE
Need more "Fodorite" advice! We are arriving in Singapore at the end of a cruise. Since we'll only be there for the day (8:00a.m. till flight at 8:00 p.m.) we'd like to see a few sights, but need suggestions as to what to do with our luggage. Any advice! Pat |

one wonderful site in sing. is the botanical gardens, specifically the orchid garden...

Bob, as you know the orchid garden at the botanical gardens is a favorite of mine, too! I also love the Museum of Asian Civilizations, and the tiny museum inside Raffles hotel. Perhaps most important in Singapore is to eat! Singapore has a wonderful variety of foods. One of my favorite places to eat is Doc Cheng's in the Raffles hotel... Ask for one of the curtained booths - very romantic.

I'll be playing in a tournament this weekend in Singapore. I should have Friday & Sunday night free. Any suggestions for a first timer?
