Suggest you buy or borrow several guide books. I've been to Tokyo but reading Fodor's "Exploring Japan" gave me a list of several more things to see. Lonely Planet and Rough Guide are very good on logistics. Or you could start by using the Destinations tab above.

You want to know Everything but have told us almost nothing -- your budget, what sorts of things you want to see/do. Do a little research using some of the resources thursdaysd mentions, and work out a basic plan. Then Fodorites can help you refine it.

Im sorry i guess this was not the right place for this post. As the responses im getting are not what i expected....
I have done research and read guide books what im after is the local info, a personal touch, from people who have actually been there. I was hoping for responses more along the lines of:
- "Hung John" Restaurant on Mack Street does the best fried noodles ever.
- "Masdam" Street market is in my opinion the best one in tokyo
- "Sin Jan Yong" Hotel has an awesome indoor wellness centre with a great atmosphere and is open to public for 1000yen
- Take a walk through "Blue" Park
- The "Yellow Toad" bus company does a really good inexpensive bus tour of the city.
Etc Etc Etc
Also i know that travel guides dont always give you ALL the options. When i was in Italy i researched how to get from Airport to City (it was quite far out) and there only seemed to be 2 options a taxi or this shuttle bus costing over 15euros per person. We asked again at the airport info with the same response. My friend and i decided to walk around a bit as we were not happy to spend so much money and thought maybe we can hitch a ride. We ended up talking to this local guy who said if we walk 600m down that road; there is local bus every 30mins that only cost 1euro and takes you direct to city. We also caught this bus back to the airport 4 days later and were happy we had asked around but also fuming that this is not mentioned to tourists
Im very sorry if i have offended anyone with my vague post i am very greatful to the volunteers and their time! I have been a volunteer myself and i definately do not take it for granted.

Maybe it's a language problem. Saying you want to know "everything" implies you have done no research at all. And Tokyo is such a huge city that if I recommend a place to eat in Asakusa, where I stayed, that could be useless to you if you're not even going to that area.

If each of us who has been to Japan answered your questions in the way that Rachel did, we would all have different answers. For instance, I'd recommend the Limo bus over the train to get from Narita into Tokyo, but it depends on exactly where you are staying.
You will get answers that fit you better if you give us specific information - things like exactly where you re staying or what your per night budget is if you haven't yet secured lodgings, what you are interested in, etc.

Yes, this is the right place and No one was 'offended' . . . But the quality/usefulness of any responses depend on how much info you provide.
Some fodorites have visited many times, some lived there, and some have only been once, but none of them can help you w/o knowing more about your wish list, budget, where you are staying, etc.
Tokyo is ENORMOUS and you can only see a teensy bit in 4 days

It may be that English is not your first language as your post is actually asking questions that require a guide book or two to answer. No one is offended but asking for restaurant ideas when we have no idea where you may be staying or what kind of food you like or budget is difficult. Best way to get to Tokyo central depends on where you will be staying. Have no idea as to what you would like to do in three short days. I have also never heard of any of the places you mention in Tokyo so I am at loss to understand your frame of reference other than you don't want to spend 15 Euro to transport yourself into a European city. This leads me to suspect that you have a small budget and your time is not an issue as much as money but this is just speculation. We need more specific questions and more information about you to give you decent advice.

I'd have to agree with everyone here. No one is offended but you need to help fodorites here help you to obtain the best information specific to your trip. Despite your rather long second post there's virtually nothing to go on.
