3 Weeks In Bali & Gili Islands HELP
Hi
My boyfriend and I are going to Bali for 3 weeks at the end of April. Just wanted to see how long people stayed in each place as I'm not sure how long to stay on the Gili Islands for. So far I have 4 nights in Ubud, 5 nights in Seminyak, 4 nights Gili Air, 3 nights Gili T, 4 nights Sanur. Does this sound ok?
The only thing I'm not sure is if we should have an extra night on Gili T and 3 nights in Sanur.
Also we want to see some waterfalls but don't want to travel too far north of Bali. Are there any in the south?
Thanks
Bex

It sounds like way too much moving around. Bali is a small island. Typically, two locations is enough to see/do/experience what you want. And why two different locations in the Gilli Islands? These places are tiny! It seems like a real waste of time to me to stay in two different places in the Gillis. It always takes more time than one anticipates to change locations - pack up, check out, transport to new location, wait to be able to check in, get settled, etc.
I'd suggest you choose two locations on Bali and one on the Gillis.

I spent 9 nights in Bali earlier this year and found plenty to enjoy -- and I'm not a beach person! ;-) You might find some useful information in my long, but searchable, trip report -- to find it, click on my screen name and then scroll down to the section on trip reports.
